Tour of Ireland 2025

22 May 2025

Our Tour of Ireland 2025 was a four-day driving adventure that combined stunning scenery, luxury accommodation, and memorable experiences, all shared among a fantastic group of GPG clients!

Day 1 – Into the West
We set off from Cairnryan early, crossing to Larne before heading west to begin our journey. Our first stop was the incredible Marble Arch Caves, where we explored the underground landscape and enjoyed a light lunch. From there, we took a scenic drive to Glenlo Abbey in Galway—our home for the night. The day concluded with a standout dining experience aboard the beautifully restored 1920s Orient Express carriages at the Pullman Restaurant.

Day 2 – Coastlines and Castles
After breakfast at Glenlo, we followed the dramatic Atlantic coastline to the famous Cliffs of Moher. From there, it was south to Limerick for a very Irish lunch at Durty Nelly’s, a 405-year-old pub complete with a Guinness pouring lesson. We continued to Aghadoe Heights Hotel, arriving in time to unwind before dinner. That evening, we enjoyed a relaxed meal in a converted church-turned-pizzeria before completing the Ring of Kerry at sunset and then under the stars—quiet roads, great views, and an unforgettable drive!

Day 3 – Mountains and Mansions
We departed west Kerry and headed toward Dublin, with a scenic route passing Cork and up the east coast. The afternoon took us through the Wicklow Mountains, offering some of the best driving roads and views of the tour. Our final hotel stop was the spectacular Powerscourt Estate. Finishing our final night in style, we gathered for an evening of private dining and, of course, drinks in the Irish bar!

Day 4 – Belfast and Homeward Bound
The final day saw us heading north again, stopping for lunch and sightseeing in Belfast's Titanic Quarter. We arrived back at Larne in time for the ferry home—capping off the trip with new memories and conversations already turning to our next destination!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Ireland Tour 2025. From the roads to the company, it was a truly special few days. Where to next? Stay tuned.
